Feedlot focuses on the day-to-day management of animals in a feedlot. Feedlot records weights, feeding schedules and veterinary details, while tracking costs and calculating profits on animals sold—all in one convenient program.”

- Supports management based on individual animals as well as groups of animals.
- Uses three groupings – camp groups, sales groups and purchase groups – to organise animals and movements.
- Records weights, feeding information and veterinary actions on the animal or group record.
- Monitors total cost per animal and per purchase group, including feed and other defined costs.
- Calculates profit on animals that are sold based on recorded costs and income.
- Allows feed rations and feeding costs to be determined and viewed per animal or group.
- Provides a range of reports for groups, costs, performance and sales to support management decisions.
Licensing & Options
Feedlot is sold as a once-off program purchase plus an annual licence fee. The annual licence fee is shared across all Software Farm programs used by the same client.

Additional data sets and additional network points are available at an extra once-off cost. Prices vary per product.
System & Technical Notes
Feedlot is a Microsoft Windows application that stores data in local data sets. Regular backups are strongly recommended, especially before major changes, sales reconciliations or upgrades. Correct setup of groups, cost items and rations is important for meaningful profit and cost reporting.

If your licence is valid, you can install or update Feedlot to the latest version. Always make a backup before installing an update.
Support & Training
Support and training are not included in the once-off program price. Telephone and email support are available to clients with a valid annual licence fee and training can be arranged with Software Farm or selected dealers by agreement.
