Hand is a Windows-based utility program with a collection of practical financial and calculation tools.

Hand Overview

Hand brings together a range of small utilities in one program. It includes financial tools, reference tables and technical calculations that support everyday farm and business decisions.

Core Features

  • Financial utilities such as amortisation, loan and investment calculations, vehicle cost and replacement calculations, telephone cost tools and basic stock exchange calculations.
  • Reference tables for information such as postal codes and telephone dialling codes.
  • Technical calculations such as cattle indices, movement calculations, unit conversions, velocity/area/volume, a basic calculator, fertiliser calibration and spray calibration.
  • Date calculations and a calendar view to support planning and record keeping.

Licensing & Options

Hand is sold as a once-off program purchase plus an annual licence fee. The annual licence fee is shared across all Software Farm programs used by the same client.

Additional options

Additional data sets and additional network points are available at an extra once-off cost. Prices vary per product.

System & Technical Notes

Hand is a Microsoft Windows application that stores its data and settings locally. Regular backups are recommended, especially when you depend on stored tables and calculation histories. Correct setup of financial parameters and units is important for meaningful results.

Support & Training

Support and training are not included in the once-off program price. Telephone and email support are available to clients with a valid annual licence fee and training can be arranged with Software Farm or selected dealers by agreement.
