SimJunior is a Windows-based financial program for small farmers and other small businesses.
SimJunior Overview
SimJunior provides basic financial record keeping for small farming and business operations. It combines a general ledger, creditors, debtors and asset accounts in one program.
Core Features
- Includes a general ledger with creditor, debtor and asset accounts in one data set.
- Can import external data such as creditor monthly accounts as well as sales and payments from Duet.
- Allows unlimited accounts, sub-accounts and enterprises to be set up.
- Supports year-end closings that can be done and recalled later if adjustments are required.
- Allows period closings for VAT and month-end purposes.
- Provides date-definable reports such as income statements, balance sheets and VAT reports.
- Opening balances can be entered or adjusted at any time before a year-end close-off.
- Supports full reconciliation on all bank accounts, credit cards, debtors and creditors.
- Backups can be made to local drives, USB devices or network locations.
Licensing & Options
The program itself is free; you only need to pay the annual license fee. The annual licence fee is shared across all Software Farm programs used by the same client.

Additional options
Additional data sets and additional network points are available at an extra once-off cost. Prices vary per product.
System & Technical Notes
SimJunior is a Microsoft Windows application that stores data in local data sets. Regular backups are strongly recommended, especially before year-end or installing upgrades. Correct setup of accounts, enterprises and VAT periods is important for reliable reporting.

If your licence is valid, you can install or update SimFiniJunior to the latest version. Always make a backup before installing an update.
Support & Training
Support and training are not included in the once-off program price. Telephone and email support are available to clients with a valid annual licence fee and training can be arranged with Software Farm or selected dealers by agreement.
