Vehicle Cost is a Windows-based program for tracking and analysing running costs for multiple vehicles.
Vehicle Cost Overview
Vehicel cost was designed to do detail costing for each vehicle. A detailed distance cost-per-unit or cost-per-hour analysis is provided for each vehicle to compare vehicle performance over time.
Core Features
- Supports entry of an unlimited number of vehicles in one data set.
- Allows unlimited cost and income accounts to be set up for each vehicle fleet.
- Analyses costs per vehicle, including distance per unit and cost per distance (for example per kilometre or per hour).
- Calculates depreciation on a daily basis and includes it as part of the total running cost for the vehicle.
- Stores purchase details, vehicle numbers and current data such as odometer or hour meter readings.
- Uses user-defined cost types, such as fuel and other expenses, to calculate cost per distance.
Licensing & Options
Vehicle Cost is sold as a once-off program purchase plus an annual licence fee. The annual licence fee is shared across all Software Farm programs used by the same client.

Additional options
Additional data sets and additional network points are available at an extra once-off cost. Prices vary per product.
System & Technical Notes
Vehicle Cost is a Microsoft Windows application that stores data in local data sets. Regular backups are strongly recommended, especially before year-end or major changes. Correct setup of vehicles, accounts and distance units is important for meaningful cost-per-distance calculations.

If your licence is valid, you can install or update Vehicle Cost to the latest version. Always make a backup before installing an update.
Support & Training
Support and training are not included in the once-off program price. Telephone and email support are available to clients with a valid annual licence fee and training can be arranged with Software Farm or selected dealers by agreement.
