SimFini
SimFini is a Windows-based financial management program for farms and agricultural businesses.
SimFini Overview
SimFini provides a general ledger, debtors and creditors, asset register, inventory and livestock tables, budgets and reconciliation tools in one program. It is designed to manage farm and small business finances over time.
Core Features
- Full general ledger with income, expense, asset and liability accounts.
- Debtor and creditor management with invoices, receipts and ageing.
- Financial, management and tax asset registers with depreciation and basic asset analysis.
- Inventory control, including manufacturing inventory to convert existing stock into new items.
- Livestock tables to record purchases, sales, births, deaths and other movements.
- Budgeting for up to five years with support for enterprises and consolidation.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, debtors and creditors.
- Opening balances for general ledger, debtors, creditors, assets and inventory.
- Backups to local drives, USB devices, or network locations.
Optional Modules
SimFini supports the following optional modules that can be added at an additional cost.
Transaction Imports
Import electronic data such as monthly creditor accounts and transactions from supported co-operatives and systems into SimFini instead of capturing them manually.
Data Merge
Combine data from multiple data sets (companies) into a single data set, for example when consolidating businesses or records over a 12 month period.
Point of Sale
Point of Sale (POS) is a separate program that works only with SimFini. Sales and payment information is transferred electronically between POS and SimFini.
Licensing & Options
SimFini is provided as a one-time purchase, accompanied by an annual license fee, offering a cost-effective solution for maintaining ongoing support and updates. The annual licence fee is shared across all Software Farm programs used by the same client.

Additional options
Additional data sets, additional network points and optional modules (Transaction Imports, Data Merge, Point of Sale) are available at an extra once-off cost. Prices vary per product.
System & Technical Notes
SimFini is a Microsoft Windows application that stores data in local data sets. Regular backups are strongly recommended, especially before closing periods or installing upgrades. Network use and multiple data sets must be registered and licensed.

If your licence is valid, you can install or update SimFini to the latest version. Always make a backup before installing an update.
Support & Training
Support and training are not included in the once-off program price. Telephone and email support are available to clients with a valid annual licence fee and training can be arranged with Software Farm or selected dealers by agreement.
